The 4th Annual Lit Gala takes place on Saturday, November 14, 2026 at the Fairmont Royal York, 100 Front Street West, Toronto, ON. Doors open at 8:00 PM. We recommend arriving on time, as the evening fills up quickly.

The Fairmont Royal York is located directly above Union Station, one of Toronto's most accessible transportation hubs.

Subway: Take Line 1 (Yonge-University) to Union Station. The hotel entrance is steps from the station concourse.
GO Train: All GO Train lines terminate at Union Station. The hotel is a 2-minute walk from the main hall.
UP Express: Direct service from Pearson International Airport to Union Station in approximately 25 minutes.
Driving: The hotel is located at the corner of Front Street West and Bay Street in downtown Toronto.

Yes. The Fairmont Royal York offers valet parking at the hotel entrance. There are also several public parking lots and garages within easy walking distance along Front Street, Bay Street, and York Street. Given the downtown location, we recommend transit if possible, especially later in the evening.

Tickets for the 2026 Lit Gala are coming soon via Ticket Tailor. We'll announce the ticket sale date on Instagram @thelitgala and here on this page. Check back soon, as attendance is limited and tickets tend to move quickly.

Upon arrival, make your way to the Convention Level of the Fairmont Royal York and look for The Lit Gala signage; our team will be on hand to direct you. Please have your ticket QR code ready on your phone (or printed) for a smooth and quick registration experience.

If you purchased multiple tickets or received group or sponsor tickets, you have two options: forward individual tickets to each of your guests ahead of time, or arrive together as a group at registration. Please note that each guest must have their own individual ticket to enter; one ticket cannot be used for multiple guests.

Fashion Extravaganza: your opportunity to shine. We invite guests to dress to impress in formal Indian party wear or Black Tie / Coat and Tie attire. This is a curated, high-end evening, so let your style make a statement. Both Western and South Asian formal attire are equally celebrated.

Yes. The Lit Gala is strictly an adults-only event for guests aged 25 and over. We have curated an atmosphere designed for our adult guests to fully immerse themselves in the festivities. Unfortunately, children will not be able to accompany you to the event.

An unforgettable night of culture, community, and giving. The evening features a cocktail reception, gourmet Indian cuisine by Tamarind Modern Indian Catering, live entertainment, a DJ set, a photo portrait studio, and dancing well into the night, all within the iconic Grand Ballroom of the Fairmont Royal York. Yes, tax receipts are issued on ticket purchases. Please note that the charitable receipt is not for the full ticket price; the eligible amount is determined in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) guidelines, which account for the fair market value of benefits received (the event itself). Receipts may be issued by the charity partner. If you have specific questions about your receipt, please contact us.
